“FOOLISH HEART”

In today's world of social media, artists like myself are often subjected to bashing and criticism. It is disheartening to see people making assumptions about my character, identity, and even gender based solely on my videos, pictures, or other content. It seems that modern technology has given everyone a platform to express themselves, even if it means using hurtful words to destroy people.

I must admit that there have been times when I have responded to foolish people who criticize me. There have also been times when I have wanted to confront these people, but the Holy Spirit within me reminds me of His words and my identity in Him.

Proverbs chapter 26 verse 4 to 5 serves as a good reminder that we should not answer those who criticize us or judge us based on our appearance or social media posts. Instead, we should strive to be like Christ. In fact, there was a time when Jesus was criticized in front of many people, and He did not respond or answer false accusations against Him.

Jesus even said, "Do not give your pearls to the pigs." I believe that through God's word, everything was created, and also through His word, we will be judged. Words can make or break someone. More than physical wounds, words can cut the deepest.

Therefore, I encourage everyone who reads this to use their words to build up and add positive value to people. Let us strive to be more like Christ and respond with love and grace, even in the face of criticism and negativity. May God bless your day and may you seek Him daily.
