More Than Meets The Eye

Proverbs 17

A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.

The Bible teaches us that a joyful heart is good medicine. Our thoughts, feelings, and words come from the heart, and Jesus reminds us that our words reveal what is in our hearts. Our inner being has the power to heal, and our kindness and generosity have the power to bless others. We must remember that our actions speak louder than words. Our heart is the center of our being, and when our heart is strong, our words, actions, and thoughts for others are strengthened too.

My wife, Donita Rose, is a remarkable personality from the Philippines and is widely recognized as one of the most successful Filipino TV personalities to have made a name on the international scene. Her achievements have even been featured in Time magazine, where she is one of the two female Filipinas to be featured.

Ever since I met her, I have noticed that she has a heart of gold. One of the most notable things about her is that she never says no to anyone who asks to take a picture with her, no matter how she looks or feels that day. I can remember a time when she was 40 pounds heavier, and some rude older fans would give her backhanded compliments like, "I'm your fan when you were still thin and beautiful." Despite that, her heart still chose to bless people with a smile and a kind word of thanks.

I am confident that my wife has had a positive impact on not just my life, but on many others as well. She is always willing to greet and take pictures with fans and never has a bad word for anyone. She radiates positivity like no other, and she attributes this to her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

As followers of Christ, we surrender not just our lives but also our hearts, emotions, and reactions to Him. The Holy Spirit empowers us to resist the temptation to retaliate and seek revenge, and instead, find joy even in the midst of sorrows and peace amidst life's challenges.

Are you feeling worn out and exhausted? How about getting a fresh start with a new heart? The good news is that the Lord Jesus Christ is capable of providing you with a brand new heart that will not only bless you but also be a blessing to many. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity and experience a new life full of joy and happiness. #proverbsaday  #christianinsinspiration
